Two St. Louis powerhouses have teamed up to offer a unique new addition to your next charcuterie board.
Volpi Foods, the fourth-generation specialty cured meats brand based on The Hill, has collaborated with Schlafly Beer for its very first partnership product. The brand-new IPA Beer Salame features Volpi’s cold-fermented, slow-cured signature salame infused with Schlafly’s signature IPA for a dose of citrus and soft tropical flavors.
This classic Italian meat company is still making cured meat the old-fashioned way.
“As two long-standing brands in the St. Louis area, it made sense to partner together with Schlafly Beer. We both focus on a quality product and share in our pride for St. Louis,” Volpi Foods marketing manager Deanna Depke said in a release. “While we have infused wine into our salame, this is a first for us to incorporate beer. The IPA Beer Salame is perfect for beer enthusiasts as well as adventurous consumers looking for something new to try.”
The IPA Beer Salame is packaged in pre-sliced, thick-cut slices ready for snacking. Look for this limited-release product in Schnucks and Dierbergs locations throughout the St. Louis area while supplies last.
