Beer the way it used to be See how we handcraft each batch of Schlafly Beer on our FREE guided tour and tasting. The tour begins in our museum exhibit dedicated to the rich brewing history of the city of St. Louis. From there you will walk through our brewery and every step of the brewing process from the finest ingredients to the fermentation cellar. The tour concludes with complimentary samples of several styles of fresh, cold Schlafly Beer.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Do we need reservations?
A: We do not take reservations for tours. Guests receive tickets from the gift shop at the Bottleworks on a first-come, first-served basis. There are only 25 tickets per tour, so make sure you show up early enough to get one.
Q: Are children allowed?
A: There is no age limit to go on the tour. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Complimentary soft drinks will be provided for minors.
Q: How much does the tour cost?
A: The tour is free of charge, and so is the beer. Isn’t life wonderful?
Q: How long do tours last?
A: Tours last about one hour. 30 minutes are spent in the brewery, and 30 minutes are spent tasting beer.
Q: Where do tours take place?
A: Tours are given at the Schlafly Bottleworks located at 7260 Southwest Avenue in Maplewood, MO.
Q: What are the busiest times for tours?
A: Tours fill up the fastest on Saturdays between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Get here early enough to get your ticket and reserve your spot.
