On select Wednesdays, after the Maplewood Farmers Market, we offer an opportunity to get to know your food and its origins. Talks begin in the Crown Room at 7:30 p.m., so we ask that everyone interested in ordering food and drink place their orders and be settled in before that time. Events are free and open to the public.

BERGER BLUFF FARM
Berger Bluff Farm is a small, family run vegetable operation located in a farming community close to the Missouri River (~60 miles west of St. Louis). The farm was purchased in the spring of 1990 and began selling produce on a subscription basis to families in the St. Louis area. You can now find their produce in area restaurants and at farmers markets.
The farm grows a wide variety of vegetables and blackberries and the owners aspire to grow produce with the highest standards of organic production and to be good stewards of their land.

It has long been our desire to incorporate as many environmental ("green") considerations as possible into the operations of our breweries and restaurants. Issues such as minimizing waste, heat recovery, composting and recycling are being addressed as our company moves forward.
For now, here's how YOU can help:
RECYCLE
Take pride in recycling your Schlafly packaging...the cardboard cartons of our cases, the paperboard of our 6-pack cartons, our newsletter, and our glass bottles are all recyclable (for more information on our 6-pack cartons see below).
Check with your local municipality about curbside recycling and other options which may be conveniently available to you.
