EUGENE "BIMBO" CARTER
Maine native "Bimbo" Carter has spent a lifetime fishing the coast of Maine and has a familiarity with seafood that most of us would equate with tying a shoe. During a career that has spanned more than 35 years, Bimbo has experienced many types of fishing, including lobster, cod, halibut, tuna, sword, and scallops...and he's a wicked clam digger, too!
Bimbo's oyster shucking talents are what bring him to The Schlafly Oyster Festival. Put an oyster in one of his hands, and anything resembling a shucking knife in the other, and see the shells fly!
