Schlafly Beer was born in 1991. Our modest goal was and is to offer St. Louis a representative sampling of the best beers ever brewed, throughout history, anywhere in the world. To that end, we brew over 34 different styles of beer, of which we typically serve six or more at any one time.

With all this variety, the common denominator is freshness. There is no place in St. Louis, or even in the world, where you can get fresher beer than at our Tap Room and Bottleworks locations.

Because there are thousands of beers extant in the world, our search for the best styles has required a lot of tasting by our staff in order to stay current. With the dedication and tremendous work ethic of our employees, it has so far not been a problem finding volunteers for this assignment.
