The 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, Schlafly Bottleworks hosts a Cask Night. Cask Ale (or Real Ale) is beer the old-fashioned way. Prior to final fermentation, we fill a stainless-steel cask with one of our traditional-style ales—leaving it unfiltered— and add additional hops to increase flavor & aroma. The cask will sit right there on the bar and when it’s time to tap it, the suds go flying.
