Behind the Scenes: American Mussel Harvesters and Penn Cove Shellfish

To prepare for the 20th annual Stout & Oyster Festival, we visited our favorite mussel, shellfish and oyster farms on both the east and west coasts. We learned all about the farming process, got a few shucking tips and tricks, and enjoyed a few delicious, fresh oysters ourselves.
