Schlaflys Art Outside Fair is issuing a Call for Art inviting all artists living within a 125-mile radius of St. Louis, Missouri to submit work for consideration to participate in the outdoor fair taking place September 10-12, 2010.
Established in 2004, Schlaflys Art Outside is an alternative juried and invitational art fair dedicated to showcasing local art in an approachable venue and manner. Approximately 10,000 visitors took part in last years event held at the brewerys Bottleworks location in Maplewood, Missouri. The fairs mission is to increase public knowledge and appreciation for the local art scene by creating opportunities that connect artists, musicians, performers, and the community. Admission to the event is free. Art Outside will feature up to 50 booth spaces with over $2,000 in cash and prizes awarded.
