STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS
“Stream of Consciousness” is a community art collaboration between the Urban Studio, Ames Elementary School, and St. Louis community members (you!) consisting of 100+ wooden cut-outs of the endangered Pallid Sturgeon, painted by community members. The painted Sturgeons will be assembled into an art mural in Old North St. Louis illustrating the interwoven history of our rivers and the story of the Pallid Sturgeon.

The Urban Studio is a new community-building center based in the Old North St. Louis (ONSL) neighborhood of St. Louis City with the mission to promote healthy, sustainable communities that encourage creativity and foster diversity.
